Tomorrow it is all change for 'Colour spectrum', and we are to explore yellow and orange. What a challenge! I am always hesitant with yellows because I cannot wear that colour against my face (though my feet don't mind!), and orange... In Spain, where I grew up, the gas bottles were orange, and if an orange was a bit brash one would always say: 'naranja butano', and the implication was that it was nasty. So, this month should be interesting!
But I had said I'd show you more of my Red Riding Hood, so here are a few more (I should put a gallery in flicker really, one of these days). So, farewell to pinks and reds!
A coy little miss this one,
And this one is illustrated by Joyce Mercer. I love the attention to detail,
And this little girl should be more careful!

Just fantastic. I was interested at one time in the psychology behind fairy tales and have M L von Franz and Joseph Campbell in my library.

Thank you for sharing more! I love seeing them! I read a book a few years ago - I don't remember the title right off... it was modern interpretations of fairy tales... it had loads of analysis on Red Riding Hood. I love seeing these images, Jess.

Where is that final red riding hood picture from? It's very familiar...
